What age children will most enjoy Kidsfest?
Activities are designed for children ages 2 – 10.
What should my child wear?
There's a messy zone. Need we say more? Please dress your child in clothes that can get dirty! It's more fun that way.
Is there a cost for each activity?
NO! Your ticket includes admission, plus all activities. There are no additional costs once inside. The only thing not included is food. There are plenty of delicious treats available for purchase, or you are welcome to bring in your own lunch or snacks.
Where is the event held?
Kidsfest San Diego will be held outdoors at NTC Promenade, located at the former Naval Training Center in Point Loma. Kidsfest San Diego will take over more than 100,000 square feet of space within NTC PRomenade, San Diego’s flagship destination for arts, culture, science and technology, comprised of 28 acres of beautifully renovated Spanish Revival architecture and offering state of the art venues for events, parties, meetings, retreats and weddings. - 5 South
- Exit Rosecrans
- At Lytton – (there is an ARCO station on your left) –Turn Left and take the next right on Truxtun through the ‘Liberty Station’ archway
- Follow Truxtun bearing right past Sail Ho Golf Course
- Continue on Truxtun. Follow signage to one of several free parking areas
- The entrance to Kidsfest will be on the corner of Dewey & Historic Decatur
FROM I-5 HEADING NORTH
- 5 North
- Exit Pacific Coast Highway
- Turn Left on Barnett
- Turn Left on Truxtun through the ‘Liberty Station’ archway
- Follow Truxtun bearing right past Sail Ho Golf Course
- Continue on Truxtun. Follow signage to one of several free parking areas

FROM DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO OR SAN DIEGO AIRPORT
- Harbor Drive past airport to Laning Road
- Make a right on Laning
- Turn right on Rosecrans

Where should I park and how much does parking cost?
Free parking is available throughout NTC Promenade / Liberty Station.
What happens if it rains?
The Festival is held rain or shine!
Can I bring my pet?
Unfortunately, no. For the safety of all children, pets are not allowed in the event space.
Will there be restrooms on site?
Yes.
Do I need to buy food?
No. You may bring your own picnic lunch or enjoy food from one of our scrumptous vendors.
We have purchased tickets and can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
No. Sorry, all ticket sales are final.
Is my ticket valid both days?
No, in order to return on Sunday, you need to purchase another ticket.
